Ekaterina Vainberg is a versatile professional who generated broad acclaim in the field of high-tech innovation, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, and startup ecosystem development.
From being a pioneer in scaling startup programs to a successful corporate career in the tech giant Sber, Ekaterina has always been at the frontier of technology and innovation. Her portfolio includes work with top RnD labs and business teams in AI, personalization, edtech, fintech and marketplaces.

Ekaterina has been recognized by major international organizations such as G-20 YEA, Global Entrepreneurship Network, Singularity University, Kauffman Foundation, and business leaders across the globe in Silicon Valley, Moscow, London, Sao Paulo and Singapore.

Currently, Ekaterina focuses on research in AI, runs two companies in AI (mosaicai.dev) and Arts (artseasons.space), and holds two academic positions as a Board Member of the Triple Helix Association and an invited lecture at the University of Sao Paulo (Applied AI). She is an author and contributor to Forbes, Inc and Medium.

    As a business leader at Sber, Eastern Europe’s largest bank and technology powerhouse, Ekaterina played a key role in driving major technological initiatives, including the launches of a recommendation system, GigaChat (an analogue to ChatGPT and Claude), and voice assistants. Her close collaboration with leading R&D teams and innovation labs has given her a deep understanding of emerging technology trends and their strategic impact on business transformation.

    Currently, she pursues research on human-machine interaction, consults on AI enterprise adoption, and runs an AI company mosaicai.dev.
  • Entrepreneurship
    An entrepreneur at heart, Ekaterina has helped dozens of startups scale and attract investment. She pioneered and expanded some of the first global startup and innovation programs, fostering growth across diverse ecosystems. She has contributed directly to the work of such acknowledged organizations as US-Russia Foundation, G-20 YEA, GEN, Singularity University, World Innovation Forum and others.

    In 2018 she received "Ecosystem Champion" award by the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) for her contribution into the development of entrepreneurship worldwide.

    Ekaterina has been an active contributor to Academia. Since 2017, she is an invited lecturer at the University of Sao Paulo, where she authored 3 courses on AI, Digital Transformation & Entrepreneurship. Since 2024 - an Int-l Board Member of the Triple Helix Association and a Member of the Scientific Committee in THA Tec de Monterey Conference. In 2025 Ekaterina completed executive education in MIT on AI.

    Her work has been published in outlets such as Forbes, Inc, Medium featuring technology and innovations. As a research associate in GLORAD, her current research explores enterprise AI adoption and the broader societal impact of artificial intelligence.
  • Speaking & Consulting
    Ekaterina actively contributes to the community through mentorship, advisory roles, and various social initiatives. She is a frequent speaker at international conferences such as GEC, WIF, SciBiz, and Open Innovations, and regularly conducts corporate training programs.

    Currently, she is an Advisor to SF-based startup Premonio and EU-based startup Aditbe.
